As we recommend some good nutritious foods for women who have undergone cesarean delivery, we also suggest them to avoid some foods post cesarean delivery. As listed below.

  • Fatty and junk foods
  • Spicy foods
  • Citrus juices
  • Carbonated drinks
  • Caffeinated drink(tea and coffee)
  • Consuming alcohol
  • Fried food
  • Very cold food and drinks
  • Fermented food
  • Fast food
  • Gas forming foods
  • Channa
  • Besan
  • Pickles
  • Urad dal
  • Chola
  • Rajama
  • Chickpea
  • Gram flour
  • Vegetables
  • Cabbage

Note: Avoid ghee and rice for the first 3-4 day after C- section. It is not recommended to eat rice for a woman who is diabetic as the scar will not heal. Most important is just say good bye to Alcohol.
